I’ve been looking at the demographics of my sweet followers, and it’s no surprise that most are parents (especially mommas like myself), who bond silently through our struggles in common and the feelings that come with it.
Needless to say, we’re all in the same boat: we’re all exhausted, broke, overworked, underappreciated, and in need to feel loved, important, and to look and feel good. That’s a pretty large boat – there are people on this boat that aren’t even parents. Adult life is great, ain’t it?!
So, I’ve decided to do us all a favor a talk about some items that I’ve acquired that have helped me feel a lot better about myself and give me confidence and motivation to carry on (my wayward son… Please tell me you get this reference…). I’m going to call this lovely new segment in my blog the Honest Reviews. Not super catchy, but straight to the point.
No, I’m not being paid to do this.
I’m doing it because I want to and I legitimately enjoyed these products. Why not share the love? Who knows, you might just need incredible shampoo to cheer you up, or those amazing yoga work pants to make you look snazzy yet feel comfy. Fellow big-boobed ladies, what if I could show you that there’s an amazing bra that can handle our goodies without making it uncomfortable for us?
See, it takes a village. Not to raise a child, but you boost your well-being. Since I don’t really have much of a physical village, let me be part of your online one.
So, let’s get this party started – let’s talk about comfort. We work hard, take care of messy children, and barely have time to ourselves. Might as well feel comfortable while taking care of the world!
I had been seeing ads on Facebook for these work dress pants that are actually yoga pants, made by a brand called Betabrand. I thought it was silly at first, until I started to work in an enviroment where I wanted to look good but be comfortable. After a couple of months of seeing the ads, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a couple pairs.
Boy, did I make the right decision.
They’re yoga pants. That means maximum comfort, flexibility, and softness. They look like professional grade dress pants – they even have cute fake buttons like your high-end work pants do. So not only do you look good, you feel good. Is that worth $58? In my book, hell yes.
The only con I can find is that, even though I ordered a petite size (I’m not even 5ft tall, y’all), I still had to fold the bottoms – and I’m wearing heels! So, if you’re short like me and plan on getting these marvellous pants, beware that you may have to hem them. It’s not too much of an issue, but who has time to go get their pants hemmed? Not me. They shall remain folded at the ends until I do have time to hem them up. I’m still going to wear these amzing, comfy pants, though.
Interested in these comfy pants? They have tons of different styles and products (dresses, shoes, purses – you name it), and you can check them out at www.betabrand.com.
They get the Tired Twin Mom Seal of Approval.
